Day 1: Mexico City
Arrival at Mexico City Airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2: Mexico City
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide and depart for a visit to Mexico City’s Zócalo (one of the largest plazas in the world), including the Cathedral (the largest church in the Americas) and the Government Palace, home to Diego Rivera’s murals depicting the history of Mexico.
Continue to Teotihuacán (literally “the place where men become gods”), a sacred city for the Aztecs.
Upon arrival, visit the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, as well as the Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Lunch at a restaurant. On the way back, stop to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Accommodation.
Day 3: Mexico City / San Cristóbal de las Casas
Breakfast at the hotel (or a packed breakfast, depending on flight time). Transfer to the airport and flight to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of Chiapas. (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED).
Upon arrival, transfer to Chiapa de Corzo for a boat excursion through the Sumidero Canyon, where, according to legend, in the mid-16th century, hundreds of indigenous people chose to throw themselves off the canyon cliffs rather than surrender to the Spaniards.
Buffet lunch at a traditional restaurant. Later, transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas, a city founded by the Spanish in 1528 and the starting point of the famous Zapatista uprising in 1994. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 4: San Cristóbal de las Casas
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, visit the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán. San Juan Chamula is home to the largest Tzotzil indigenous group and is a center for unique religious practices blending Christian and pre-Columbian traditions.
A visit to San Cristóbal de las Casas follows, a city that maintains its colonial charm in a peaceful atmosphere. The main square, Plaza 31 de Marzo, is home to the Municipal Palace and the Cathedral, which dates back to the 16th century. San Cristóbal is considered one of Mexico’s most beautiful cities due to its harmonious urban layout and impressive religious buildings.

Day 5: San Cristóbal de las Casas / Palenque
Early morning departure to the Agua Azul Waterfalls. En route, a brief stop for breakfast in Ocosingo at a countryside restaurant with panoramic views of the valley.
Continue to Agua Azul to admire its stunning waterfalls surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Opportunity to swim in the natural pools at the base of the falls.
Transfer to Palenque. Arrival and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 6: Palenque / Campeche
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, visit the archaeological site of Palenque, a major Maya ceremonial center from the Classic period, renowned for the technical perfection of its architecture and sculpture.
Nestled in the jungle, Palenque is one of the most impressive archaeological sites. It is the oldest discovered Maya site, where some of the civilization’s most outstanding architects worked. The visit includes the Temple of the Inscriptions, which houses the tomb of the great Maya king Pakal, and the Royal Palace, a majestic structure with unique architectural features.
Departure for Campeche, an old colonial port. En route, stop for lunch at a restaurant to enjoy the region’s excellent beef.
Arrival in Campeche and accommodation at the hotel.
